Cole Woodward combines business leadership, operations management, and legal expertise to deliver real-world solutions for Galvanize Law Group’s clients. With hands-on experience running a building materials business and an office furniture dealership, Cole understands the challenges construction companies face and provides practical guidance to navigate the complex intersection of business and government. 

As General Counsel for the Colorado Department of Public Safety, Cole advised Colorado’s state law enforcement and emergency management agencies on a wide range of regulatory, litigation, and policy issues. He led a team of five litigators in the Corrections Unit of the Colorado Department of law, managing civil rights litigation, and sensitive investigations, and advising on policy issues. 

In his prior roles, Cole has also represented municipalities, private clients, and nonprofits in complex litigation, including Section 1983 defenses, showcasing his commitment to protecting client interests at every turn. Before practicing law, Cole was in the trenches of operations, leading teams in the building materials and furniture industries. He knows firsthand the challenges businesses face in the built environment, which is why he’s focused on delivering practical, solution-oriented advice that addresses real business needs. Cole’s blend of legal acumen and operational experience ensures that the solutions he provides are not only legally sound but also grounded in the realities of running a business.
